Becks, No matter what your problem is, you could go see a counselor and just talk about it. They are really good at listening. It would probably be free through your school- and if it ended up not helping, it isn't something you'd have to stay committed to. (I know from personal experience... going to counseling doesn't make you any less of a person)
I don't think that it could hurt anything, so if you think it might help, go for it. I know a lot of people here who've been to school counselors- if you get a good one it can be a good thing. I don't know if you need it though. I guess that's for you to know. -Susanna Banana
I think you need to just go and see what they say. What's the harm. If they can't help you, you stop going and everything goes back to the way it was. I also think, if you have been thinking about it lately it probably means either something went seriously wrong, or someone else around you brought it up. If that is the case and someone else suggested it, it means you have people around you that want you to be happy. They mean it in the best way (if they didn't why would they even waste their time telling you how they felt)? Maybe it was a fluke suggestion but if you are considering it based off of what someone else said, and this goes against everything I believe(minus IMPORTANT situtations) you really should. There are so many people around you that care, and they want you to be happy. The people around you care so much they want what is best for you (as do I) so I think it is in your best interest to just go and see what they say. I love you Becca and really want you to be happy, so no matter what you decide don't regret your decision. Proverbs 27:6- "Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiple kisses." I love you Becca, you're amazing! I'll see you around...
